NOV. 5, ‘25 // TOPIC #44 - ECZEMA AND SKIN INFECTIONS My son suffered from terrible eczema up until over two years and somebody told me about Dr. Sarno’s method on babies and children. I did Dr. Sarno’s method on my little boy and after a few weeks the eczema vanished totally. Here and there I could sometimes notice a bit of the eczema and I do Sarno’s method again and it helps. I bought the book from Dr. Sarno and learned his method from there. TOPIC #38 – TOOTH TROUBLE If you use the Miracle Clay Toothpaste - keep it in your mouth and just swish it around after brushing your teeth with it - I keep it in my mouth until I’m done with my preparations for bed. It helps tremendously for both sensitive teeth, and not to have to floss so often (because it takes plaque off the teeth and it strengthens the teeth). TOPIC #38 – TOOTH TROUBLE My dentist recommended Sensodyne toothpaste or any sensitive toothpaste. I asked some other dentists which toothpaste to use, they said that Sensodyne is the best toothpaste and it’s especially good for sensitive teeth. Miracle Clay and Colgate toothpaste also helped me a bit. TOPIC #38 – TOOTH TROUBLE I use Sensodyne toothpaste. I called Hisachdus harabunim and they said that it’s okay regarding kashrus. It really helps the painful sensitive teeth. TOPIC #38 – TOOTH TROUBLE I went to Dr Adler of Eisenberger and Adler Orthodontics after not finding a cause for my painful sensitive teeth. He was the first person to quickly and accurately diagnose me. He said I have a tongue thrust and that’s causing a lot of pressure in my mouth resulting in the unexplained pain. Since I am using sensitive toothpaste made by Adwe, I don’t have any issues anymore. TOPIC #38 – TOOTH TROUBLE I’ve heard that turmeric is a very good option for many tooth problems. I also know someone who had years of problems with their teeth and Baruch Hashem since they started taking turmeric, they stopped. Turmeric can either be bought just in the grocery as a spice and it can be taken one teaspoon with a cup of water. You put the powder in the mouth and then you drink a cup of water afterwards. Or if you can’t stand the taste, you can put it in empty capsules. You can buy ready capsules, also, which are a bit more expensive. It’s also good to add in a drop of black pepper. It helps digest the turmeric better. And organic is also a better option. TOPIC #182 – YOM TOV PEYOS Somebody wrote that there needs to be two criteria in order to be allowed to make peyos on Shabbos. Criteria number one was that no mousse or gel should be put on before Shabbos. I want to correct that by saying our Dayan told us that gel is a problem to wet on Shabbos because it hardens again, but mousse doesn’t have that problem because it holds the shape, but the hair doesn’t get hard when you wet it again. So according to our Dayan, you are allowed to put mousse on Friday and then wet it again on Shabbos morning. Of course, everyone should ask their own Dayan, but I want to clarify that it is not a halacha across the board that you may not put gel or mousse before Shabbos. 120
