NOV. 5, ‘25 // Window Washing Hi Csay Balebustes, I hope it’s been a wonderful week! Our inbox is sagging from the influx of teacher appreciation ideas and experiences, which shows that even if we’re not always able to carry out all that we want to do, our community has an overwhelming appreciation of the devoted teachers and melamdim spending their days in the classrooms. If you have what to say, we’d still love to hear it! In the meantime, let’s get practical before the winter frost hits. How do you maintain or clean your windows? Especially the outside of it. And the new ones that slide outward when they open are even more complicated to wash. Did you figure out a way to get your mop (or a special mop) out there to do the job? Risk your cleaning lady’s life while you say Tehillim in the next room? Tried the robot that can be stuck outside? We’d love to hear your window-washing tips and experiences! Have a beautiful week, TOPIC #189 – TEACHER APPRECIATION When I send my child dressed as Shabbos mommy on Friday with a nosh for the class, I make sure to send along chocolates with a nice note for her teachers. TOPIC #189 – TEACHER APPRECIATION I’m a teacher and I really appreciate when mothers give letters with cheap treats like chocolate with it. I also got something from a mother in the beginning of the year; it was on my desk when I entered the class. I was so grateful to that mother, it meant so much more than at the end of the year. TOPIC #189 – TEACHER APPRECIATION I’m a morah and had a parent give me a small treat every Rosh Chodesh. I felt that was very special and meaningful to me. 118
