// 845.371.2222 TOPIC #183 – TEARLESS ONIONS First of all, it definitely is a nature of a person to get very teary from onions. I know some people who almost don’t feel it at all. I actually have contact lenses, which really helps most of the time, except when I really have a very large amount or very strong onions. But I did hear an idea, that you can do in advance when you’re planning to cut a lot of onions: Put the onions in the fridge once you cut it open. Cut it in half, for example, then put it in the fridge or freezer until it gets cold and then you won’t tear so much when cutting it into pieces. ESROG I’d like tips on how to preserve my esrog. Csay Topic #188 TOPIC #173 - CONSTIPATION I had a very good experience with not drinking during the two hours after eating. It really, really helps. TOPIC #44 - ECZEMA AND SKIN INFECTIONS (ACNE) I want to share an idea for acne: putting miracle clay cream on your face. Follow the instructions on the bottle and it helps for blackheads, acne, or any skin problem. You can get it at the pharmacy or health food store. It does make the skin a little dry afterwards, so make sure to use a good moisturizer afterwards. TOPIC #44 - ECZEMA AND SKIN INFECTIONS (WARTS) For warts, you can take a Tylenol tablet, make it wet, and put a band-aid onto it overnight. Within a week you should see results. TOPIC #183 – TEARLESS ONIONS I used to keep onions in the cabinet and I sometimes found that the onions and scallions had little tiny worms creeping up and down on them. I heard that if you keep it in the fridge, it won’t get worms. Since I do that, baruch Hashem, it’s much easier to cut onions and the problem of the tears is gone. TOPIC #183 – TEARLESS ONIONS Someone mentioned the ready to buy diced onions, and I want to make everyone aware that when you put diced onions away overnight, they must have an additional thing mixed into them. I’m assuming the ones the stores sell with a hechsher in cans or in the freezer contain something inside. TOPIC #173 - CONSTIPATION Somebody wrote about an exercise for constipation in newborns. Honestly, I read the original letter twice and I could not understand how to do the exercise. Maybe the woman who originally wrote it could clarify it more, maybe even with a picture. Thank you. TOPIC #44 - ECZEMA AND SKIN INFECTIONS In response to the beautiful poem that someone wrote in about eczema, I want to spread the word - because it’s almost like a crisis now with babies with eczema, that it’s from a toxic overload. It’s so important right away when the baby starts to flare up when they’re still a newborn, usually it starts out by two months. Right then, when it starts, the mother should start taking a good probiotic and also give the baby a good probiotic to prevent a flare up. Now I’m struggling with my grandchild who is already almost two, and it’s all over the body and so hard to heal. All the things I did when my baby was tiny, the probiotic and a bit of miracle clay I took immediately helped it stop spreading and eventually heal. If you can, you should work to eliminate toxins - taking and giving probiotics, using natural detergents, and putting cotton clothing onto the baby so that they shouldn’t irritate more. It often starts on the stomach, which is the core, and usually if you treat it and build the immune system already then, it can hopefully fight it on its own. Once it has already spread all over to other limbs, it’s pathetic to watch these little kids scratch and bleed away, and it’s so hard to cure at that point. TOPIC #44 - ECZEMA AND SKIN INFECTIONS I want to thank the woman who wrote the poem about eczema babies. I had a few babies with eczema, and I really think it was very spot on. 125
