I just wanted to make everyone aware that I heard from Rivky Schwartz, the lactation consultant in Boro Park, that an exclusively nursing baby should not be given any water or brown sugar mixed with water. It can be dangerous. It’s only okay for formula fed babies. Also, nursing babies are not considered constipated even if they do not have any bowel movement for even up to a couple of weeks, two weeks, maybe even three weeks. TOPIC #173 - CONSTIPATION There are beet chips from the Heaven and Earth brand that can be given to a child that eats solids already and I found that it really helps for constipation. DEVIATED SEPTUM I had a deviated septum, and I thought I tried everything. I did the surgery, and all I have from it is a crooked nose. It did not help at all, and when I went off white flour, sugar, and milk all my issues were gone. TOPIC 17- LAUNDRY TIPS Spray Shout onto the stains, then put Nature Bright from Shaklee onto it. Let it stand for a half hour before washing normally. If the stain isn’t fully out, you can repeat this process again and it should work. This disturbs the sleep and causes tiredness because of the lack of proper breathing throughout the night. After this happened, I found a simple solution. It is a bandaid with a rubber from the company Breathe Right. They are nasal strips to be worn at night to help breathe properly. It may help before surgery, too. Maybe it is easier after surgery. I use the ones for sensitive skin and it can be removed easily without water. I purchased this at Greenbaum’s pharmacy. There are other brands, and this one is supposed to be very good.
