SEPT. 10, ‘25 // But amid the flurry of preparations, there’s one reminder that can never be pushed aside: SAFETY COMES FIRST. The Daily Ride Every morning, thousands of children across our communities climb aboard a yellow bus, beginning and ending their day with that familiar ride. The school bus is, baruch Hashem, one of the safest ways for children to travel, but we must never take that safety for granted. When rules are overlooked or caution is forgotten, even a small mistake can lead to tragedy. With a few simple precautions — from children, parents, and drivers alike — we can ensure that every child’s journey remains safe and secure. The summer sun is setting, and with it comes a new season filled with fresh beginnings. Parents are busy labeling school supplies, ironing uniforms, and packing lunches, while children look forward with wide eyes to the excitement of a brand-new year. As our children return to school, there is a certain buzz in the air — new teachers, new classmates, new routines, and endless opportunities to learn and grow. 160
